Me either brethren. I don’t care about Commies and pedos like Mr Rogers. My life revolves around 19 year olds running a ball like a real patriot !

No need to be upset about John Prine. I’m sure his ashes have floated right down the Green River, he’s had some fried pork chops and smoked a cigarette 9 miles long

It already happened with me-the passing of Johnny Cash. My Dad was a big fan and we had several of his albums.
I also upvoted all those who named Willie. He’s going to be the next big one for me, But then, I don’t think he’s going to die. I think he’s going to slowly fossilize into his own monument.

Steve Irwin was a gut punch for me. My son and I watched that show all the time. After he passed, I never watched another rerun of his show.

Robin Williams was the first time I was actually like “damn” and a bit sad.

Clint Eastwood is a good one and Tommy Lee Jones just because of longevity and talent but I doubt I’ll be overly sad or anything.

I’d watched Robin Williams on Mork and Mindy reruns on Nick at Nite since I was a kid and when he died I was a bit bummed but it didn’t ruin my whole day.

Agree, I may miss their work or whatever, but they aren't my family or friends.

To get so invested in someone you don't even know is pretty vapid.

I agree that Shatner’s passing will be sad, but he’s already in his 90s so not very tragic… Michael J., on the other hand, will probably affect me more than most celebrities since he is a gotdam American treasure (even though he’s Canadian).. as a kid in the 80s i looked up to him so much- which is ironic since he’s only 5’4” tall…. But also it’s tough that he got afflicted so young, and in pics I’ve come across recently he looks like he’s declining .

John Williams.

His music has had so much influence on the pop culture of my life. Star Wars. Indy. Jaws.

Watching the Olympics? Yep.

Superman can fly because of John Williams.

Dinosaurs are real because of John Williams. The scene on the island in the jeeps might be the best example of how the right score can make a simple scene iconic.

I’ll be legitimately upset when he passes.
