Curious to see what it costs to cool the house with the units running 23.8 hours per day.

I've been wanting to install radiant barrier in my attic for a few years now. If my bill is $400 or more, I'm doing it. frick that.

This reminds me of an apartment I had in college where I never had an Entergy bill over $8. That's right, no zeroes. Our meter was obviously broken. Never should have moved.

My current bill is much much higher.

We were at $250 for May, which is usually our August bill.

I'm afraid of what July and August are going to look like. Probably going to hit $400 for the first time.

My largest bill in this house prior to the last bill was 358. Current bill was 488.00 This is Entergy in Saint Charles parish. I dread the next 3 months bills. Some folks are not going to be able to swing the increased costs.

Just checked mine, both meters combined came out to 494. Not bad, about what it was last year during the hot months

Projected to be $507 this month. We keep it at 76 during the day. It never turns off and still reaches 80 degrees inside on hot days.

It's funny because Entergy sent a letter in the email yesterday letting us know that they just finished improvements that will increase the efficiency of the house. I'm calling bullshite.

I know someone who’s bill was 801

My bill for April that I paid in early May was $167, May's bill, paid in early June was $276 and I should be getting this months bill in the next few days and I'm fearing it will be at least $100 higher than last months-----hopefully not.....

Well, never mind the above. I heard the mailman deliver and got my bill-------$440.53 Just shy of a $170 increase in the last month with July, August and September still ahead.

What is Entergy charging per kWh total? By that, I mean taking the total bill and dividing it by kWh used. That includes all fixed costs so it isn't the true cost for the energy but it is easy.

I paid just over 13 cents per kWh with Demco in April and May at the camp. The June bill isn't up on the website yet.

Entergy here

Energy charge is up 45% over last month
Fuel Adjustment is up 100% over last month
Storm Restoration charge is up 660% over last month

Highest bill to date in my house was $128, this month nearly doubled that at $215.

I get my bills around the 15th of the month and this month it was $100 higher than any bill I've ever had. My projection for next month is within a dollar of this month.
