For St George to change its name to Bon Baton Rouge.

I have to admit, naming it New Baton Rouge would have been entertaining.

I do

She’s working on my dime, she’s spreading lies, and she had been directly part of a movement to take away my rights as provided in the La. constitution.

A statewide vote isn't the problem, it's parish. Baby steps. But the lines of the SEBR school district exist in some legislative purgatory already. And remember the ISD boundaries do not have to be the same as the city. See Central.

Few understand this.

It will take time though, the parish vote will be the toughest. If you think the lies are bad now, just wait.

If you go by the people claiming to have voted yes, this thing should pass by a huge margin.

And then the lawsuits and the bigots in State Capitol will go to work.

Who’s going to be funding the legal costs for St. George?

I would imagine they have their own attorneys already getting ready, and have their shite together for the moment the losers pull their stunts.

I would imagine STG would counter sue any fraudulent lawsuit that the better together people bring.

Baton Blanche would have induced fatal trigger. Baton Non-Noir would have resulted in immediate bloodshed.

Has Sharon Hyphen Broome funded any exit polling? If so, has she released the results? Did they have 10-12 catered meetings about doing exit polling?

Yep.

54-46 with 4 precincts left to go. And thanks to TBR ratfricking the first petition, Gardere can’t exactly overturn the current margin because they aren’t part of the area involved.

Quick question, does St George increase or decrease housing prices in Prairieville?

On one hand I could see it helping by creating a buffer of "nice" between PR and BR.

On the other you will have another nice area in which people can buy houses.

I would say negatively affects them as it gives more housing supply for buyers to choose from.

Until StG gets an ISD, I don’t see it hurting Prairieville housing prices. I think most people who move to Ascension are doing so because of the schools.

Congrats, y’all! I was rooting for you.
