It's his fricking house. You have no business telling he what he should be doing.

So your use of this phrase for this scenario is way off.

Perhaps the better phrase is "No good deed goes unpunished"

the thing about homeless people is very few are just "down on their luck". 98% are drug addicts and or severly mentally ill and should be institutionalized, or living that way by choice.

I hear you chad. But this lady was all up in salmons shite.

I probably wouldn’t go demanding him on what to do in the future. But I would damn sure make a comment about housing homeless drugies in our neighborhood is a stupid idea and that I don’t appreciate it.

honestly I just wish when he told me the entire situation and ask me to contact him if anything seemed off

I just feel like he left off the homeless part when he told me about them house sitting because he knew we (the neighbors) would be iffy on the whole situation

I'm not going to yell at him or anything when he gets back, just more like "hey man, just give us more of a notice next time if you are going to let people that you don't really know stay at your house for a month"

This kind of thing is why you let your kids take in a stray dog or cat one time, when they are old enough to appreciate that most things you bring in off the street were out there for a reason.

My freshman year at LSU my parents (or my mom at least, dad was heavily against) took in a soon to be homeless former stripper (no pics) and her two kids. When I got home for the summer she was in my room. The kids were sweet but poorly behaved because they had no structure in their lives. She would come in late every night, wake the whole house up yelling at the kids. By the 4th of July we were all sick of her and we finally convinced mom to kick her out. There is just no helping some people. I should thank her today, she taught my brothers and I an invaluable lesson in why you don’t bring trashy women home.

We don’t give mom a hard time about it because she knew pretty much right away she brought a disruption into our family life and we all felt bad for the two kids.

I know a preacher who does this type of stuff. I get helping people, but use some common sense. Certain people should be avoided and most likely these aren’t really religious people who fell on hard times but otherwise good people. They’re likely pieces of shite taking advantage of a church’s hospitality
