My neighbor let a homeless couple house-sit for him. Chaos ensues.

My neighbor is a preacher and quite possibly the nicest individual you will ever meet.
This also might be his detriment.
He has a garage apartment that he has always rented out to older widows at his church to help them out. Most recently it was an elderly black lady that was super sweet, but she eventually had health issues that forced her into permanent care.
Anyways, he tells me last week that he and his wife are going on a ministry trip to Washington for a month and that he has a couple that will be staying at his house and taking care of his dogs. I don't give this a second thought.
That is until Saturday night when I wake up to screaming and fighting and cussing right outside my bedroom window. A male and female are in his driveway yelling every expletive they know at each other. At one point the female walks up to my front door and acts like she is about to knock on my door for some reason. She does this multiple times. Luckily both of my kids are heavy sleepers, but I eventually call the cops because this was continuing for awhile. The cop shows up at a point in which they were inside and sits on the street for 37 seconds (I timed him on my Nest camera) and leaves. They continue to yell and scream at each other for probably another hour.
The next few nights are much of the same. Tuesday night I confronted them and told them to take it inside. They obliged.
Wednesday night the woman laid in my front yard and cried "Please God save me!" for 5 minutes then went back inside.
I have all of this on camera.
Yesterday, I hear a horn blowing and the woman screaming "HELP! HE IS KILLING ME! SOMEONE PLEASE HELP!" I run to the window and see the woman inside a car and the male trying to physically pull her out of the car. I run to and grab the youth sized 20 gauge that I keep next to our bed. I also call 911. The 911 operator obviously talks me out of running outside with the shotgun, but I keep it by my side as I give her details of the situation till the cops arrive. The male is no longer trying to rip the woman out, but they continue to yell and fight.
The male then leaves in the preachers truck. The woman goes inside. Cops show up and the woman refuses to come out.
At this point the entire block is outside and we are all talking. Eventually one of the neighbors gets ahold of the preacher and explains what is happening and he confesses that the couple is a homeless couple that goes to his church that he is trying to help out by paying them to house sit for him. He arranges for them to go to a shelter. The cops take the woman to the shelter. The man is still missing (in the preachers truck).
One of my neighbors wants to hold a block intervention when he gets back to explain to him that this is not cool.
How mad should I be at my neighbor?

For the free entertainment? You should be thanking him.

Preacher man is kinda stupid. His intentions are good, but good intentions also paved the road to hell

Slightly mad, but it is Christmas and he probably thought he was doing the right thing...

You should bang the homeless chick

Besides, the passive aggressive shaming and scorning the women in your neighborhood will do is more powerful than any cussing you could give him

Pics of crazy homeless chick?

I enjoyed the stay and the new truck is nice. Tell your neighbor thanks for me

I would be very upset. Before doing anything though speak to the community pool board. See what action they want to take before doing anything.

After he sees the inside of his house, the problem may take care of itself.

I don't I think you should be mad at all. Their intentions are good and we could use more people in the world willing to do the right thing but he's definitely naive. I would make sure he knows how it's disturbing everybody and causing a problem that reflects poorly on him. I don't think you have to preach to him at all about his naivete. I think he just learned that lesson.

Well did the chick clean up well or what?

Your neighbor deserves to have his truck stolen

Meaning he will kick his own arse?

It sounds like he managed the situation as soon as he was informed, why are you upset? He was nice, it failed, and then he fixed it.
The main issue is that he wasn't contacted sooner IMO.
