Condolences and prayers for your father and your family. Mine passed last summer. I think about him daily. I miss the heck out of him. He'd be having a field day with LSU baseball this year. He never cut the teams any slack.

My condolences on the loss of your father. I actually saw this obituary today as I was reading the newspaper. You did a very nice job and I’m sure your father would be honored. It struck me today how there were a number of people who seemed to have lived great lives and left behind grateful family members made better by their time here on earth. May we all be so fortunate.

Sorry for your loss brotha, mine passed away this past January on the 25th. Like you and your father, my father and I also loved this board, truly does bring a special relationship between father and son. If you ever need anything here for ya.

As a father of two, take comfort in the fact that he died before you. I can’t imagine burying a child. At least this was the proper order of things and he probably told you as much.
