Make sure she is on birth control pills and the boy has a stack of condoms. It’s gonna happen just have them be prepared.

Whatever happened to dads cleaning their shotgun in the living room when the boy is arriving to pickup your daughter?

What kept me from going all the way at that age was my father bringing me to the trailer parks and the ghetto to show me all the irresponsible men that had kids before they could provide for them.

I know it’s a black/white example and I’m not sure if it’d work for a daughter but that scared the shite out of me. I had big dreams and things I wanted to do.

Touching a pussy with my penis seemed like an unwarranted risk. I waited until I was 17 and out of HS.

If I had a son and a girl's dad did something like this, I'd probably break his knee caps.

Why would you break your sons knee caps?

The only pussies in here are the ones that 100% refuse to believe this dad could be anything other than a monster. It's not on me to get some of you mental children to see there are more than a few ways to skin this cat based off of the information given in the OP.

So your BIL basically threatened to shoot a kid for doing what 16 years olds do?

What could possibly go wrong there.

You can't have a gun on you on your own property? Is this even America?

From what I recall of the law, it is perfectly legal for somebody to have a firearm on their person on their own property. Having it tucked in their pants-belt is fine, too, on your own property.

La. is an Open Carry Law state. As such, it would be legal for the gentleman to have a holstered pistol on his person while walking around OFF OF his own property.

So, unless the BIL pointed the pistol at the young man, I fail to see a crime here. Maybe I'm missing something.

But is is reasonable to conclude that BIL's intent was to intimidate the boyfriend. If the boyfriend was 16 years old, I agree with the majority that this is a "dick move."

But, what if the boyfriend is 22 years old hooking up with some Uber-Sweet Sixteen Teenage Queen? BIL still a dick for having the Glock in his belt?

I would shoot this aggressor first and deal with the fallout of having an armed dead man on my front door threshold.

BUT, the whole situation is avoidable if I hadn't had the pistol in my belt in the first place, of course.

That's why it's important to keep in mind that, no matter what gun laws say, the only problems that guns are good for are to defend self or others against some deadly force attacker and that's it.

I'd really like it if some OT lawyer would chime in because I don't think that the BIL, although stupid, did anything illegal.
