One of the most telling things is that he's in deep shite with his wife about it. Even she knows that he went too far, as well as made an arse of himself.

My dad made it real clear with my dates how I was to be treated, and did it in a way that didn't create a debate as to if he broke the law or looked like an arse doing it.

I still feel sorry for the girl. She probably won't have a great day at school tomorrow, and her boyfriend likely won't be back around. But, if somebody would say what exactly they were caught doing, I might feel differently. If dad caught them about to make him a grandpa, for instance. But since mom is pissed, I'm thinking it wasn't anything close to that.

Alright, both you and yellowfin are both being stupid in this thread and here's why:

First, we have an experienced law enforcement officer contributing to this thread. He said that he would not even bother to make an arrest in this case unless the BIL's words and actions amounted to a criminal threat. The facts don't support that it was a criminal threat.

Second, you and fin advocate that the Police should arrest the BIL and make him spend a night in jail just to prove a point, even thought the Police knew that no crime was committed. What kind of nutcase would advocate such spurious, frivolous and malicious Police action? Police don't behave this way in free Western Civilization. Police make frivolous arrests in Police States, not the USA.

Third, just to compound your error, you advocate that the State of Louisiana should PROSECUTE the BIL just to teach him a lesson and bankrupt him with legal fees in order to teach him a lesson. Again, this is what Totalitarian Regimes do, not the USA.
