It sounds like she moved out as they continued to work on their marriage…sometimes that’s actually the best way to save it. I don’t see a problem here but maybe I’m in the minority.

However, your buddy doesn’t sound like he wants the dog and neither does she…Why exactly haven’t they discussed this yet? Seems like an “easy win” in terms of a conversation that would get the marriage heading in the right direction since they both seem to be on the same page? What else are they not talking about?

Tell him you're glad he’s confiding in you but he really needs to talk to his wife more if they’re serious about saving the marriage.

It's NOT about the DOG.

She is deflecting.

She moved out to see what options are out there (or had someone and it failed to progress) and now she is avoiding answering questions about other men by bring up the dog.

Lawyer Up.

Well there's really not a whole lot of options even available

1) Her and dog come move back
2) She comes back but gets rid of the dog
3) Neither her or dog come back

That's about it. If he really wants to make it work and he mentally embraces option 1, you again don't have a lot of sub options. Either the dog lives inside or outside.

Does he have nay kind of spare/bonus room or basement or something? Can they devote an area of garage to it?

Odds are after a two weeks he'll want kick her out and keep the dog.

My wife asked me to get rid of my golden and my catahoula. I said no. She moved out within the year. I can’t abandon any living being. Can’t say I liked it, but I will not be pushed in my own house.

Paying for new furniture and door frames and the pending divorce will be expensive. No dog and skip to the divorce part. If by the slim chance she really wants reconciliation it’s no biggie. But she probably just wants to get a break from the responsibility of single living.

She’s been getting schlonged the whole time. Get a new wife and don’t take back the woman who was getting dicked down while married to you.

Yeah, that would be my guess. She realized the grass wasnt greener. At best she was talking to other guys and possibly nothing happened physically, but I doubt that.

You want and honest, no punches pulled answer?

Your post tells me why she left him.

Your brother is a crybaby bitch that wants everything his way. She has probably wanted a dog for a long time, but he has said no. That is probably not the only thing he has swelled up and pouted about.

I hope she keeps the dog. She will have a companion after she moves back in, sees your brother is still all about himself, and leaves again.

This is such a retard thing for the wife to do. She leaves her husband. Her life is probably a little stressed with finding a new place, dealing with emotions etc.... So she wants to complicate things by getting a dog at the worst possible time.
