I made a 30 my last time taking it. Got a full ride to LSU through the highest level TOPS with the stipend. I also got some Century scholarship or some shite.
The full TOPS + stipend + scholarship covered my tuition, fees, and books every semester through junior year. At that point, they increased the fees to some ungodly amount, and I had to start coming out of pocket some.
I think in four years, I had to pay about $700 dollars for school-related expenses (including books).
Would’ve sucked if my grades slipped and I had to pay more. This was more than ten years ago, though. A college education for $700 on the stipulation that I make great grades wasn’t a bad deal.

I made a 32 both times I took it. Banked about 7k in extra scholarships my freshman year, then lost almost all of it because I finished my joke schedule with a 2.9 and they wouldn't put me on probation for a semester to get it back over 3.
So there's no correlation between high scores and not being a dumbass.

I know a guy who graduated high school with a 2.3 gpa then took the act a year later and scored a 22. Got accepted to LSU somehow and graduated, at least that's what he says. Is it billshit?

Bingo. I got a 22 in 7th grade as well and a 32 (twice) in HS.
I will say I think I got lucky in 7th grade as a lot of it was over my head but I found it very easy when I took it in HS.

I got a 23 then a 24 my junior year of high school. I’m in medical school now. I also know multiple people with scores in the 30s fail out of college their first year. Point is, don’t let a test score tell you how smart or dumb you are so early on.

My 12yr old nephew in BR got a 31 when he took it. Holy Moly bruh!

The ACT measures how smart you are. It doesn't say shite about whether you're a good student.
If you score a 30 and don't go to class and shite, you'll fail,
