I do not have the heart to tell her LOL.
she is on the commercial side and is pulling 65+ claims a day right now - mostly due to the weather

I'll be busy working it Friday so I won't be here to update it anyways so it's for the best.

Is it written in the laws of nature that tornados in Mississippi and Alabama can only happen at night, particularly late night?

ABC
Scroll down for the last 2 videos. The commentary in both is pretty funny.

They had a warning last night, too. That's ~5 warnings that I can recall for California this year. There have been a couple other confirmed tornadoes, too.

I'm starting to think you purposefully plan your trips for shitty weather.

NWS must have missed this one because I did not get a notification for it today.

Just plan your trips opposite mine and the weather should be great!

So, I'm down in San Antonio. What time should I expect shite weather tomorrow? Planning on spending the day at Seaworld with the kids.
Looks like we should be a little South of that line, but I'm not 100% sure.

If SA gets it, it will probably be in the morning with the line being out of the area by noon. There's some disagreement in the CAMs as to how much the SA area sees, though.
ETA: That's Friday morning. Tomorrow's storms shouldn't really impact San Antonio, outside of maybe a few passing showers. The front, which has the southern end dragging behind, is what will bring storms to the area Friday morning.

Got the upgrade to Moderate for Friday. This is definitely the first real Spring-like setup we've had so far.
Centered over the usual area that we've seen every week lately, it seems.
Still a couple of particulars to sort out. There's a chance for a similar failure mode as we had with the last round with a cap/warm nose present, but not nearly as strong this time. Also, hodographs aren't very clean on modeled soundings, still plenty enough shear to work with, but some issues that could hamper long-track tornadoes.
Now we wait for Delta to chime in from the roof.

I’m glad the bulk of the threat will be during the middle of the night for north & central Alabama. It makes spotting difficult, but at least we will have lost daytime heating by the time things move through here.

I’ve got another 8’ or so left on my backyard drainage project. Guess I should do that today if I get out of work early, since we are having storms tomorrow.
