I'm guessing it is being refurbished?

Yep, Service Life Extension Program work is ongoing on that radar.

That area I mentioned finally wrapped up and is warned now. South of Dadeville. Shouldn't last long as it has lost its rear inflow notch.

Numerous reports of trees down on the highway just to my south

Something I have noticed is that Fox Weather is spamming the hell out of YouTube these days. Not even extended coverage, but 3 to 6 minute long clips from their coverage of the Rolling Fork tornado and others.

I am thinking this one was more straight-line winds as it come through my neck of the woods judging by the storm debris reports

When the ground is this damn saturated, it doesn't take much wind to put some trees down.

I'm worried that tonight will be the bad weather for our area.
It's supposed to get up into the 80s today, and drop down into the 50s tonight after another round of storms.

The Amory, MS tornado from Friday night has been rated an EF-3.

NWS Memphis Tweet

This tornado was produced by the same parent thunderstorm that produced the Rolling Fork, MS EF-4.

SPC already with a large 30% severe area for Day 5 (Friday)

That’s never good to see this far out

Hopefully the models continue to stick with idea of the low being pretty far north, which would keep the better dynamics to our northwest.
