I love Mr Rogers - his show was great and it was great for kids - he would unfortunately be canceled today - he cared too much
Also, I read a paper long ago that suggested that Elmo says ‘I love you’ at the end of the Elmo’s world segment bc it may be the only time kids hear that.

I keep waiting to hear that Mr Rogers (who I love) ran an international child sex trafficking pedo trolley where he would torture the kids and burn them alive in an offering to King Friday, who was just an emissary for Moloch all along. Mr. Rogers was and still is a national and global treasure. He would not be "canceled" today, whatever you think that means.
This song was meant to help children be comfortable with themselves and to accept one another, NOT to shun those who are different. The man devoted his entire life to kindness, acceptance, and inclusivity, so to twist this silly song into something transphobic is shameful.
Mr. Rogers deserves better than this. Be better.
