Move from TX to Cali

178Sooo…I have a dilemma. My current company wants to move me to Anaheim, CA. I am currently living in Southlake, TX (DFW). Pay is almost double. I am a never Trump Republican. It is a huge promotion but Cali :ugh:. My wife is pumped; my kids not so much. God help me I am considering it (I hav travelled to Anaheim before and see no issue). Someone give me a sanity check.

No way in hell I’d live out there. Taxes are crazy, you’ll be living in a shoebox compared to what you can get in Texas.

Consider whether the move would be temporal and if it's a stepping stone worth hitting on the way to whatever is next.

on 5/11/22 at 8:48 pm to CunningLinguistI wouldn't live in Anaheim. Someplace like Chino Hills isn't bad and is fairly close. Calvary Chapel Chino Hills is a great community church for conservatives in that area. Pastor Jack Hibbs is awesome.
