According to white women, she shouldn’t even be on probation.

It’s probably postpartum psychosis.

Gotta be because they don't have a case other than someone saying they might have saw something. Especially if the kid in question didn't go septic.

DA would rather get a conviction with a plea bargained probation rather than nothing at all.

According to the complaint, hospital security cameras captured Le Sueur entering the bathroom with a cup. When she emerged, that container was allegedly filled with fecal matter. Then, Le Sueur filled the syringe with human waste and injected it into an IV line, which ran into her child’s hand, according to documents in the case.

That should be reckless child endangerment (or whatever it is called) at worst, and maybe even a higher charge than that.

I also am curious about how she did that...logistically. Seems like an awful lot of trouble to go through.

But I hope that child is removed from her care yesterday though.

I think I'd rather have feces in my IV than hit that.

That doesn't really change what I said. DA's don't plea bargain down things like this all the way to just probation on a lark. Something is thin about the evidence that he doesn't like.

You have to take a journalists rendition with a grain of salt sometimes. Ive seen a number of things that were newsworthy but the reporting of it wasn't accurate.

For instance, here: All that is actually said is that she was seen entering and leaving the bathroom with a cup on camera. The contents of the cup and the injection though were just eyewitness based though. But the paragraph puts a strong implication it was all on camera. Never seen a camera in a hospital room, have you? Common areas sure.

My read is that they felt they had something, and believed the nurses. But you do NOT avoid getting a massive infection and going septic with any amount of fecal matter thrown straight in your blood stream. If that didn't happen, any defense attorney could have gotten reasonable doubt.
