They shut schools and stuff down if heat rises to 95 F

The populace there is allowing the government to torture them when the UK contributes just over 1% of all global greenhouse emissions. And some of them think suffering without air conditioning is making some kind of difference. Wild stuff.
Crazy thing, is that CO2 is not a major contributor to global temperature.

I don't know anyone who has died from gun murder. I do know 1 who suicided with a gun. And one by hanging, and one by intentional overdose of sleeping pills.
Suicide is a lot more common than murder in the US.

It's in the OP's chart... 6.5k USA heat deaths vs 5.5K EU gun deaths.
Ah yea. Missed that.

Pretty sure their heat related deaths total more than gun related homicides, and car related deaths combined in the US.

To be fair, once suicides are adjusted for people affiliated with the Clintons then it isn't close to half.

If possible, LE will rule a death a suicide as it's easy to close out.

I'm in Berlin now, even the places that have AC can't keep up. The temp in Berlin two days ago was around 103. It was pretty brutal.
Having no AC just isn't a good strategy at this point.

Eurotrash needs common sense AC control
Posted on 6/29/26 at 4:29 pm to hawgfaninc
We need to send inner city residents over there to even the numbers up.

Americans don't do anything about gun deaths so why would you expect euros to do anything about heat deaths.

What can be done? More laws?
Posted on 6/29/26 at 4:47 pm to Zappas Stache
The second amendment to the Eurotrash constitution, "in order for our collective brand of socialist governments to survive, citizens shall deal with the heat, or die trying."

Europe also has the oldest population in the world so any brief temp increase gets those old people.

America has a lot of inner city criminals that shoot each other (and innocent victims).
What do you propose concerning those inner city criminals?

Your contention is that it is illegal to own an air conditioner in Europe?

European heat-related deaths primarily impact the elderly, women, and urban populations. People aged 65 and over account for roughly 85% of total heat fatalities, with the risk for those over 80 being substantially higher. Additionally, women experience heat-related mortality rates 55% to 63% higher than men.
To hell with granny.
