More details emerge on the "Cornell 7"

The males' names were released early on, but now they are tied to ID's in the complaint along with discipline already meted.
Male 1
Matthew Ingalls
LC's friend; she initially went to Chi Phi to see him. Allegedly participated in the sexual activity.
Result: Expelled from Cornell
Male 2
Johnathan Newell
Allegedly participated in the initial sexual activity and sent the Snapchat message inviting others upstairs.
Result: Expelled from Cornell
Male 3
Winston Lee
Allegedly entered later, participated in sexual activity and ketamine use.
Result: Suspended for 2 years
Male 4
Gillio Lopes
Allegedly participated in sexual activity.
Result: Suspended for 1 1/2 years
Male 5
Diego Sarabia
Did not participate in sexual activity. Allegedly entered the room and forcibly kissed Doe; not alleged to have intercourse/sex with her.
Result: Barred from campus for 3 years (he had already graduated). Fired from Wells Fargo.
Male 6
Scott Norris
Did not participate in sexual activity. Allegedly came into the room and participated in the ketamine activity.
Result: No-contact order + educational/reflection requirements

Scott Kretzschmar
Did not participate in sexual activity. Allegedly came into the room and participated in the ketamine activity.

If this is true, it is stupid. I can’t imagine expelling someone/being expelled for consensual sex. If you told me that some of the late comers who responded to the text were expelled, I’d believe it. They were in a better position to know better. Based on the information out there, I am shocked these guys didn’t sue for being expelled.
With the girl suing, these guys likely counter-suing, and these facts, Cornell is going to be the one taking it from both ends.
