My daughter in law did this. She left behind three terrific high achieving kids aged 15, 12 and 7 at the time. She did admit what she was doing and didn't run and hide. This capped off several years of nefarious activity including an embezzlement arrest and multiple people she duped into giving her money. She is up north now and I consider it addition by subtraction.

i keep seeing this popping up all over social media recently. i'm about as pro-dude and anti-feminist as you will find, and even i can see that this is bullshite. TONS of dudes have sacrificed their families for some side pussy. and TONS of women have stayed with a-hole men in order to keep their families together.
conceptually, i understand what the phrase is getting at, but it's still bullshite.

I’d argue that getting some side pussy isn’t abandoning your family, it’s just being a bad husband. Men don’t leave their families at nearly the rate women do.

I’m mean I know people are ashamed of telling people they earned a UNC degree but this is taking it too far. She should have just transferred to NC State instead of embarrassing her family to the point her only option was to run away.

That is just flat out incorrect.
