And the service they perform for the public is to enforce the law.

Disgusting pieces of shite.. the disconnect grows much faster than the needed respect between Leo and citizens

This is what the left wanted, right? Defund the police = shittier officers. You’re also buying in to the flavor of the week.

How many LEO exist in this country? How many million? So for every story like this, there’s probably countless other suicides prevented daily by folks, including by LEO. I’m not a bootlicker, just stating the job is similar to teaching, nursing, etc where some bad apples change the perception of the profession.

They were serving the public by allowing him to die per his wishes.

Not to be insensitive but isn't this what the person wanted in their suicide attempt?

Wow! Interesting take.
Do you believe that those who attempt suicide should be charged with attempted murder?

Question...what if it was a sloppy suicide attempt and the attemptee had a living will note on them that specified DNR?

Do the cops do what is right or what is right?

Holy shite!
It's not enough for you to continually attempt to "one-up" stories with your occasionally obvious bullshite but you're now so compelled that you've made a "Look at me, aren't I great?" post in this thread.

frickin' pathetic!

Yes. Law enforcement's job is to serve the public by enforcing laws. You wouldn't expect the record keeper at city hall to serve the public by coming to pick up my trash cans at my house. So why would you expect a law enforcement officer to do something other than enforce laws?

Because they're human beings. As a human being myself, I would feel compelled to help someone that was dying right in front of me.

You do you.

That’s a major problem. The guy was still alive. I personally know a guy who survived shooting himself in the mouth. His face is messed up but his entire out look on life changed.

Maybe not "let's cruise around and come back" as a dead body is in the park.
