One of the funniest political ironies of the last few decades is watching the American Left completely flip on cultural pressure.
Back in the 80s and 90s, they threw an absolute fit over Christianity being pushed into schools, public life, entertainment, and onto kids in general. The whole argument was, “don’t force your beliefs on everyone else.”
Fast forward a few decades, and now many of those same people are perfectly fine pushing their own weird worldview and beliefs onto everyone else (especially kids) and then getting furious when people don’t clap like trained seals.

I was told to wear a golf cap with rainbow symbol on it a few years ago. It was a white cap, so I simply put white tape over the offensive symbol.
No one said a word to me. After the event, I threw the cap in a dumpster.
Seems he could have worn his regular cap, but, no, the queers must be appeased.

Gensesis 9:12-16, reads: "And God said, 'This is the sign of the covenant I am making between me and you and every living creature with you, a covenant for all generations to come: I have set my rainbow in the clouds, and it will be the sign of the covenant between me and the earth. Whenever I bring clouds over the earth and the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will remember my covenant between me and you and all living creatures of every kind. Never again will the waters become a flood to destroy all life. Whenever the rainbow appears in the clouds, I will see it and remember the everlasting covenant between God and all living creatures of every kind on the earth.'"

No more water. Fire next time.

My bedroom is my business quickly became "you and your kids will watch me do what I do in my bedroom in public, and if you don't worship me, you will be canceled because you are a homophobic fascist in a cult".
Just amazing times.

In the 1990s, most gays were against the idea of gay marriage. Marriage was seen as an anchor that impinged on their freedom and promiscuity.
Then, sometime in the early-mid 2000s, somebody figured out that gay married couples could get the same tax breaks and benefits that straight married couples did. Attitudes did a complete 180 then.
They all like to say “Love Wins”. Truth of it is “$$$ wins”.

MLB playing with fire here going down this road.

MLB is in the position of the NFL trying to weaponize social issues.
Like football, baseball should be just baseball and refrain from getting involved with hot social issues.
When college teams get into this, I supposed I'll have to watch bowling or something.

think of how many less MLB management jobs there would be if not involved in social issues. Baseball has played the same game, rules basically the last 120 years. Why are so many executives required?

Leftists want people to be forced to celebrate homosexual sexual fetishism because it’s “inclusive.”
But if you do so much as suggest you’re a Christian, those same “inclusive” leftists want you destroyed.
This should tell you all you need to know about leftists. Modern day progressivism (actually Marxism) is an ideology built on sexual deprivation, hate, envy, and vice, which are all things that erode a thriving society. Conversely, progressivism is directly opposed to all things that are good and wholesome and lead to a thriving society.

OK-another sternly worded letter. That'll show 'em he means business.

You feel the same about the military appreciation uniforms, the 4th of July uniforms, Mother's/Father's day, etc?
The Bible verse in question is unoffensive. But, if MLB has a universal policy banning writing on caps then this is a big nothing. If they've never enforced the policy before then they could have some issues.

The San Francisco Giants host an annual Christian faith event called "Fellowship Night." The event brings local church groups together at Oracle Park and features pre-game or post-game testimonials where players, staff, and former athletes openly share their faith and stories of Christian fellowship.
And again:
Sam Hentges opted against wearing the Pride Night cap, entering the game with the team’s standard black and orange cap, as opposed to the one with the rainbow logo. He did not face any disciplinary action.

That’s such fricking garbage for MLB to force this gay shite. And then react like shitbags about something so harmless.

Those apply to everyone.
The alphabet mafia - not so much.
Acting and though they are the same is a false equivalency.

Nobody has to wear the hat
The guys who got warned chose to wear the hat and then chose to scribble on it with lines from their favorite book
That’s why they were warned. The guy who just wore the regular hat and didn’t comment until asked was not disciplined.
This is simple stuff unless you’re just begging for something to play the victim about.

Why are any of them even putting on the hat in the first place?
