I had no idea players were forced to wear hats with pride symbols. Seems that should be a choice in my opinion
They're apparently forced to praise satan and stroke each other's dicks in the shower after games too.

They don’t have to wear them. A different reliever came in wearing their standard hat later in this same game.

Ol boy in the OP and a few others opted for performative “look at me” protesting, which is his choice, but yeah, an obvious breach of MLB rules.

Gotcha

I remember my baseball coaches in HS making us do this, so I’m not surprised

Isn’t this the definition of the pride flag?

If you draw it on your hat while everyone else is wearing a different hat? Yes, exactly.

If you just have it hanging outside your house or something then I don’t see how it differs from any other flag.

Are there other flags that tell others how much you love and support dudes having butt sex?

Aggie flag? Auburn? I don’t know. Check on that and get back to me.

this is the most ridiculous thing I've ever seen in sports
yeah, let's force players to participate in these stupid theme nights
how about, you let the players decide what they want to promote and not force it upon them

a team of players is bound to have many differing points of view on a lot of topics with Pride night being one of them

Looks like their religious beliefs were violated for being forced to participate in Pride night. That one would hurt in court…

It’s like the world has gone mad. Are there really that many LGBTQ+klmnops who are baseball fans? I mean is that their target audience?

I really don't see a problem with MLB not wanting them writing bible verses or really anything at all on the caps. The problem is making them wear the pride hats to begin with though.

Did the player who wore the standard cap get a warning?

If they really insist on having pride night it seems like an easy solution would be to do it without doing anything to your uniform. Do the gays feel unwelcome without rainbow shite somewhere on the field? They probably dgaf.

Have your night, do some promotional giveway crap, check the box, and leave the players alone.

Alphabets must be pretty weak minded to crave so much forced and artificial pride. They probably get off on forcing it on others.

I still can’t see forcing it onto anyone over their religious beliefs, and I definitely cannot respect anyone or any organization that shows pride in drag queens, forcing drag queens on kids, forcing trans on kids, and supporting inflicting permanent damage onto kids.

The regular LGBs should take out the gay fetish, gay paraphilia, abusing kids, and forcing it all on people against their religious beliefs; but they don’t run the alphabets anymore.
