did this this too and it made me black. I guess that's not national newsworthy though.
You should start a thread with the pic and let TD help you make it national news.

Weird bias for an AI to have.
Posted on 8/1/23 at 8:59 am to saint tiger225
The only way to fix this is for computers to be extremely racist against white people.

Not if it's programmed to do that. Which this was.

Guess it depends on what you are trying to get it to do. The creator of an AI image generator was apparently interviewed (not sure if it's the same one she used) and talked about how if you ask to create an imagine of a CEO it's going to create a white male. Obviously, "the issue" at hand is when searching images for CEO's you are more likely to find more white males.
If you were to search images for LinkedIn profiles, would you see more white people as well? Did she know this and is why she specifically asked for a LinkedIn professional headshot instead of just a professional headshot?

Why did it give her the Forest Whitaker eye?

I’m so excited that now computers and AI are racist
What a time to be alive.
It’s been the weather, the economy, banks, Covid, and now computers.
I really wish i could wake up everyday and just reach to find something to blame for my problems

Like its crazy that this occurrence happened to someone who clearly already had existing feelings of racial biases in AI.
Exactly. How many entries did she try until it gave the response she wanted.

We should cancel whoever created AI - clearly it's racist. All AI companies are hereby cancelled.

If AI is indeed racist at least this probably means they’ll spare us white peons when it inevitably takes over.
Posted on 8/1/23 at 9:51 am to saint tiger225
The only reason we'll defeat/resist AI is because it's racist?

so I'll have to go without a new LinkedIn profile photo for now

Because she can't just upload an unmodified photo of herself?
Or go get a professional headshot like people used to do???
Oh, guess she probably can’t afford them cause she owes $400,000 in student debt with no job yet….

I didn’t read the article, but I bet she told the AI to do that. AI takes things very literally.
Posted on 8/1/23 at 10:05 am to saint tiger225
AI should have given her some bigger tiddies...
Posted on 8/1/23 at 10:09 am to saint tiger225
Definitely hotter as a white. The AI did her a favour.

She added that "racial bias is a recurring issue in AI tools," and the results have put her off them. "I haven't gotten any usable results from AI photo generators or editors yet, so I'll have to go without a new LinkedIn profile photo for now!"
Stop being cheap as shite and pay a photog for a professional headshot.
