The amount of conditions that qualify for Medical MJ make it available to anyone in about 1/2 the SEC.

Same in Oklahoma. I lived most of my life with only 3.2 beer as an option in grocery stores in Oklahoma thanks to the Baptists.
I voted for the medical MJ state question but never expected it to pass. It was an odd combination of libertarian Republicans and stoner Democrats that voted for it and got it over the hump.
After it passed, my son got a grow license, and his girlfriend got a job as a pot shop auditor. One day I went over to his house, and he handed me a 2-gallon bag full of fresh bud and asked me if I wanted it. That was enough to last me the rest of my life, but I turned it down. I don't like smoking it. His girlfriend had gotten it as a gift from one of her clients.
I don't have a card but will probably get one. I like taking a gummy before bed. It helps me sleep.

Before it was overall legal in Missouri my doctor told me to get a medical marijuana license to help me sleep and for my appetite. It was very easy to do. There was an online interview with a doctor who pretty much led me to answer questions the correct way.
I could not smoke the stuff. One puff and I would cough uncontrollably. So I went back and bought some gummies. I told the guy that I just wanted to sleep. He loaded me up with the super duper stuff. I ate one and went to bed. When I closed my eyes I would hallucinate. It was like looking at a black light poster. That was the end of my use of medical THC.
