re: Missing 18 year old's body found on Horn Island - and ridiculous reactions.

I see a lot of the “so many unanswered questions”. That may be true for the general public, but the official investigation may have answered a lot of these questions.
Of course, the big question is what happened to Nolan?
A swimming pool drowning attorney told me that it’s surprising the number of cases he’s worked where a person disappeared into a pool without anyone else realizing it. It would be that much easier to disappear in a large body of water.
Another difficult thing is establishing a timeline on a day when many people aren’t constantly looking at their phone and seeing a time.

The autopsy will tell the story

According to Facebook the entire law enforcement and Mississippi government is working together to cover this whole thing up
I.e., anything that doesnt point to him being murdered is a lie

I wouldn’t let a boat leave with them.
I’m not pushing any point of view. I am just saying it’s odd.
If there are deleted messages after the boat left with his phone, that is very odd. I’ve seen those claims, but I am not sure whether I credit them.
Crump is a shite stirrer. His involvement is unlikely to make things clearer.
I will not blame the parents for much just yet. They lost a son in his prime. That is brutal.

Maybe. But a ruling of death by drowning does not tell you a lot.
There were a thousand people there. Somebody must have some idea what happened.

Crump and Sharpton should make a trip out to the island and swim around in the current to prove a black guy could do it without drowning.

You've never forgotten a personal item in a car or boat, especially when you've been drinking?

Im fairly positive that the whole deleted text message thing is from the presser with the family and Crump where the mom said that she knows that Nolan would have taken snapchat videos and pictures throughout the day, and the absence of any photos or videos from that day makes her think that things may have been deleted, followed by Crump mentioning deleted texts. But it seems to me like he was referring to what the mom said. I dont think there has been any other mention or report of deleted texts. Just shaky at best speculation by the mom regarding the absence of snapchats, and an errant comment by Crump.

Cue TMZ and their "Dolla Dolla Bills"
There will be a "witness" and video soon

I don't think people realize how quickly and quietly a drowning can happen. A little kid drowned in a pool at one of the Phoenixes a few years ago. Over a 100 people out there and he was gone floating in a corner.

All I can say is frick his parents. All the sympathy I could've had evaporated as soon as they called Crump. Son's autopsy isn't even done and they're thinking racism/money

I'm no social media Ph.D, but isn't one of Snapchat's message features that Snapchat has highlighted for years is -- that shite disappears....

She said it hadn’t been 24 hours when she checked.
I don’t know how Snapchat currently works as far variation with auto deletion times, was she looking at private chats, or how she got access to check the app including if that could have forced anything to be deleted like logging in on another device once phone taken as evidence.
It’s making some assumptions that he would have used that specific app in the first place including with a poor signal out there, stored any photos if he did take any, and that the other kids could access the app or phone (might be related to how she gained access like if phone always unlocked).
When claim first made I thought they might have checked text records and noticed some must have been deleted which I still wanted to know how they knew they were not deleted by him or just didn’t fail somehow, but to vilify his friends by accusing them of deleting messages during national interviews based solely on only her hypothetical belief that the absence of pictures in Snapchat is proof that his friends deleted pictures is ridiculous and reckless with the mob they are fueling.

The whole Snapchat/Life360/text message thing is pretty confusing. Sounds like they didn't get their story straight before the interview. Crump has been vague about that all week, imo, because he knows it's flimsy & doesn't want to wrongfully accuse them of destroying evidence which would put all his GFM bux at risk.

Kind of hard to spend the afternoon snapping in waist deep water on an island 7 miles offshore with no cell signal.
Think about it. Hundreds of people there on a major holiday weekend and we’ve seen enough photos and video to count on one hand.
But why state the obvious when you can publicly speculate some insane theories about his white friends wiping his phone after murdering him? I hope Crump gets sued into the Stone Age.

I suspect that this is where a many of fine folk will land. His parents went from grieving to grifting in like 48 hours. They're tacitly saying for his white friends and all white people to G2H so we can collect a GFM ck.
That said, is it known that they initiated contact with Crump or vice-versa?

Yeah exactly you go out there to live in the moment off the system...not exactly where you want to be if you stuck on your phone or laptop or tv

Correct. She said I know Nolan. This isn’t how it acts as there wasn’t anything from the day. Crump said it appeared to have been deleted. But of course the mob runs with it as they deleted his phone. Nor they are on them having his keys on the house. The house Nolan drove to and stayed at the night prior. fricking madness

Weren’t the photos of the boys in the boat used throughout this story taken from Nolan’s phone?

Let's be fair & honest
His parents definitely aren't thinking racism
These good kids were his friends
His parents are thinking money
Karmelo's parents got a 150,000 dolla SUV and a million dolla crib and all they had to do was sell out their son who will stay in prison for at least 35 years
In this case their son is gone so they can make bank with a clear conscience
Alex...I'll take "People who annoy you" for 5,000
