I'm not sure I'm even bothered by the racism/prejudice, if that's what it is.
It's just insane that a contingent of people can convince themselves of this mindless stupidity. "Don't go to where you're the only black face" - when doing exactly this increases the safety of your own child.

I was with a group of ppl on a boat once when we hit a sandbar.... most of us ended up in the water. There were some serious injuries (broken arm, huge lacerations that got infected from sea water and concussions) in fact we were a mixed crowd also.... moral of the story is, it was fun. until it wasnt and it was an accident with real serious issues.

Is the idea that these kids, who were supposedly his buddies, and looked happy in joyous in all the pictures with the poor guy, were just playing some sort of devious long game to get him out on an island to j off him, as some sort of deranged secret racist white supremicists?

The world we live in today is sad because of culcha.
Carmelo Anthony murders a kid, in front of witnesses both black & white, it is captured on video for all to see and yes, ‘these people” say he is innocent and should be a free man after a trial where he was convicted.
Here, a black teen is dead and that is the only fact we know. Now, “these people” are wanting to convict these 3 friends of murder, which at this time, has no evidence, no witnesses, no arrests, no trial, nothing.
This is “these people’s” vision of justice.
These are scary times we are living in in.

To be fair a lot of commenters on social media are “digital creators” saying outlandish things for reactions and views. I’m sure there are a lot of people who really do think that way though. Make no mistake, there are certainly bots commenting all over the place on this too to sow discord
