Then you certainly don't have the time to list all of the times black people have been pulled over without incident and peacefully, which was his point.

He's not saying that this kind of shite never happens. He's saying that shite like this is an outlier and the VAST majority of these things are handled fine. That's all.

One time is too many. All these incident could have been avoided. The cops are suppose to protect and serve the public, not kill them.

Is knee on the neck standard procedure once handcuffed? Very strange action by the police officer to keep his knee on the dudes neck for 7 minutes.

Prosecuting Attorney: “Did you, or did you not, kill the man?”

Defendant on stand: “Yes I did, but.“ (Long, dramatic pause. The jury and room are locked in, anxiously awaiting every word). “The man looked like a crack head!”

Audible gasps from the gallery. The prosecutor throws his hands in the air and hangs his head low. The defendants family can’t help but to erupt in joyous celebration. Small tears of joy trickle down from the defense attorney’s cheek- alas the moment he has been waiting for. The judge throws out the case immediately, and condemns the prosecution for even attempting such a charge.

Why would the family hire the attorney that represented the families of Michael Brown and Traveon Martin ? He LOST both cases !

Yoyre going to have to post thousands and thousands more to move it out-of the relatively rare category considering the billions of interactions.

The video posted in this thread appears to be totally excessive and inexcusable. But there is a reason why these incidents occur so disproportionately among black males.

Not to mention that if I have put my hands on you, its highly likely you've done something to bring me to your location. Usually you acting like a complete jackass. I got better shite to do, like sitting under the shade tree playing on my phone or watching YouTube. And yeah if you can scream that you "cant breath" you are breathing you stupid frick. Act like a civilized human being and it wont require me to thump your stupid arse.

Not justifying just playing devil's advocate, because until there is a coroner's report then no one knows how he died.

Gee, I wonder how the coroner - paid by the city, run by the mayor - will find on this one?

Some like this guy are. Why would he keep his knee on his neck?

There are millions of interactions between police and the public every week. These outcomes are relatively rare.

This is actually the correct answer but it won't be received well here because "frick da po-lice".

Can we get a thread bump when they burn the first police car? I’ll probably need to redownload the periscope app.

Actually you have to look a little deeper than skin color to find the problem. Something I'm willing to bet you're not capable of doing.

Kind of like the old "Ice cream makes people more violent theory" Simple people look for simple answers.

After watching the video, damn! Goes to show that a single still photo can be pretty misleading.

I don’t remember if there were any civil suits, but those lawyers weren’t involved in the primary “trials” that were lost (grand jury in Brown’s case).

The police are not your friends. They don’t protect you or your property and are generally all too willing to go overboard and strip you off your rights with a smile on their face.

I’m black, I know the problem. I’ve dealt with these cornball wanna be tough cops my whole life. I had numerous encounters over my forty years, and I’m a college graduate, disabled vet, who has obeyed the law all of my years.

Newsflash: fighting with a cop leads to an amped up response. Kneeling on the neck to gain compliance of a combative suspect is common practice. The goal isn't to kill him but to get control of his hands for restraint purposes.

Did you watch the video? He's motionless and pisses himself within a couple minutes. Billy bad arse cop continues to kneel on him for several more minutes.

This ain't nothing but downright murder. Cop's deservedly going straight to prison. Bet.
