No its not you stupid idiot. Its always been this hot.

Ok maybe it is real but even then its definitely not sped up by humans. The earth has always been warming and cooling.

That should cover 95% of the posts here.

Not just you. I'm genuinely shocked.

Is this how you function in real life?
Tell someone they are wrong and stupid, and then immediately say well maybe your right.

I know it’s a non starter around here, but nature doesn’t care about politics. Whether you “believe” global warming is happening is immaterial. You’re paying for it now, with an escalating bill the rest of your life. Insurance, utility bills, food and water costs, etc.. the list is long

You do know that we are just 15-20 years out of the Mini Ice Age that lasted roughly 350 years, right?

Maybe, but it certainly isn't man made and there isn't anything we can do about it.

There is basically 100% chance anthropogenic climate change is real. The question is how much of an effect it actually has. We can certainly reduce (or increase) anthropogenic climate change again the question is how much over an overall impact it has and thus how much impact could a percentage change actually have overall.

What's crazy is that a lot of tropical plants struggle or straight up die above 100F. The weather never changes much so they get used to a narrow band of temps.

Not that I'm really a climate change fanatic. But South Florida's summers aren't really that exceptionally hot, certainly not like Phoenix or something. South Florida never gets cold during the winter, but it doesn't really have the hottest summers in the world like some people seem to think.

However, Miami does have the mildest winters in the country. Whereas Phoenix averages a daily low of 43-47 degrees during winter, Miami averages a daily low around 64 degrees. (All per Google AI.)

When the wife and I visited a few summers ago, it felt every bit of 100+. I assume however that is overall heat index vs measured temperature which I guess I would be impacted by sea breeze

Correct.

Objection. Assumes facts not in evidence. You are presuming the man made part of the climate changing. As you say, nature doesn't care about your politics.

It surprised me that after 130 of so years Miami has never hit 101 and hit 100 only twice now.

Miami pretty much has a tropical climate - those places don't hit 100 oftent because the high humidity caps the temps - they will have 100 degree hit indexes all the time and their night time temps will be really warm

I thought it interesting that Miami had only reached 100 twice in modern history.
