Kinda crazy since Miami never hardly gets below 70 degrees for highs even in the winter time, yet has only reached 100 once since World War 2 in the dead of summer lol.

Miami pretty much has a tropical climate - those places don't hit 100 oftent because the high humidity caps the temps - they will have 100 degree hit indexes all the time and their night time temps will be really warm

Atlantic offshore breezes and frequent afternoon thunderstorms keep the temperature down below 100 in the summer but, yeah, the humidity is the killer. Mid 90’s in the middle of day isn’t what the problem. The problem is when it still in the high 80’s and the feels like temporary is still over 100 at 10:00 PM. Back in the early 90’s when we had a shitty NBA team and were getting an a MLB franchise, the joke was, we should call them the Florida Marlins the Florida Humdity. Then we could talk local sports and say, “It’s not the Heat that suck so much as The Humidity.

Are you pitching this is a bad thing?
I thought it interesting that Miami had only reached 100 twice in modern history.

It is bad that it happened.

Do we or do we not believe in anthropogenic warming of the planet? When I grew up in South Louisiana back in the day, it rained most every summer afternoon.

Sure it’s hot and nobody likes hot weather, but in the overall scheme of things it’s nothing big.
