Verne and Gary actually had a great dynamic and I thought great broadcasting voices (maybe it's just nostalgia). The problem with them was the drooling over Bama and other anti-LSU things they would get hyper fixated on.

The intro music was the best though and always floods back memories of being at family deer camp knowing I was going to watch the first quarter of whatever game was on, then head out the stand and then come back middle 4th quarter.

If they move around materials any where near the level they do building the Gigafactory in Austin, having a CDL-A wouldn't hurt. I'd imagine the trucks used to haul cane will be busy in their off season.

This really is a great development for Louisiana and I hope that everything that is planned comes to fruition. It adds a whole new industry to Louisiana (yes Im aware of Michoud, but this is different) and attract new talent to the state. I've left Louisiana and don't really plan to return, but I'll be damned if this news didn't make me consider moving back and finding employment with SpaceX.

Given LSU is one of only 24 Land Sea and Space grant schools, I'm curious to see if the Space grants and programs start receiving even more of a boost.

Economic theory hasn't changed and quite honestly what you are seeing today is a proliferation of one the basics of economic theory, economies of scale. As the nation/world became less regionalized and goods began moving across the globe, scale in both buying power/cashflow and logistics, proved to be the most effective way to make goods still affordable as costs of goods continually rise.

Smaller companies struggle to maintain readily available cash to be able to pay for increased costs of goods and services and therefore either have to sellout to the bigger guys or be stuck without a great path of growth. Some small companies maybe okay without growth, but ultimately if it's a family business, families tend to grow and there isn't as much money to go around. Its the 3rd generation problem most family businesses face. In the world of logistics/distribution, we are now in the 3rd and 4th generations of family companies.

2019 Texas, Alabama, Florida and National Championship games were all watch parties with my friends in Austin either at their house or LSU bar, those were great memories.

For me, I really like to pay close attention to the games so watch parties can suck if others aren't paying attention. However, I don't typically get as irrationally angry when watching with others, so probably better for my general health to watch at watch parties.

When the wife and I visited a few summers ago, it felt every bit of 100+. I assume however that is overall heat index vs measured temperature which I guess I would be impacted by sea breeze

Got it. I guess the fees have escalated a bit since attending 14-18. At that time I had whatever the top tier of TOPS was, which I think was just full tuition plus like $750 per semester and that covered all my schooling cost outside of books. Books I didn't buy unless I needed the online code for quizzes/assignments.

Room and board I remember was more expensive on campus than off campus then. There was no requirement for freshman to live in dorms however so I chose off campus with friends.
