Does he not see his kids? It’s best for kids to have both parents in a strong relationship together, but this isn’t all or nothing.

Had a coworker do this and with young kids. I was shocked at the time. After a few years and beers over it, I still think it was shitty, but I also agree that his wife had become intolerable and he was hanging onto his sanity by a thread. Just wish he would have handled it better. If you really feel the need to snag some strange, get the divorce first.

I left my ex because she had become unhinged and unstable. A man can only tolerate this so long.....after 10 years of counseling.....I had to go. Want proof that the ex was insane? I got custody of our youngest. After much counseling, my youngest is finally doing well. My ex, not so much

Guy I grew up with had four failed marriages and kids all over the place he never took care of.
At his funeral the preacher stood up and talked about what a fine upstanding family man he was.

My parents divorced when I was 12 because my dad was messing around. He ended up getting married to her when I was 14. She was 22 at that time. They were married for 8 years, then got divorced. She ended up remarrying a guy that was a year older than me.
