Mutual respect in marriage is a good thing.

Respecting your wife to plan your schedules together is not being a cuck.

I have 4 kids. I ask the wife if I can do certain things so I can still have the sex. It is what it is. I’ll take it.

More Pathetic: A dude with only half his shite, paying spousal support, child support, a mortgage on the house his ex lives in with his kids, the note on her car and the note on the used single-wide he now lives in.

I always ask my wife if she’s cool with me hanging out with some buddies or golfing for a bit. It’s just courtesy. Unless you’re the type like my older brother who has that “it’s pathetic to ask your wife permission for stuff” attitude who is always trying to give me relationship advice. I’ve been married over 10 years and he can’t hold onto a girlfriend. And speaking of “pwn the noobs” I have 2 buddies now divorced cause they wouldn’t stop playing CoD all the time.

"You go right ahead."
This is not permission; it's a trap.

I don't ask permission, but I discuss it.
I'm gone about 15 or 20 weekends a year on hunting/fishing trips. Jody been staying busy.

It's not weak to be thoughtful.

I know a few baws that need to ask for permission to play xbox for an hour. I mean how pathetic do you have to be?
It’s because their in HS and their mom controls their allowance. I’m not familiar with any baws that are married and hang around the crib playing video games.

It is not about permission, it is about communication. What if your wife said, "hey, going out woth the girls tomorrow night, figure things out with the kids" , and did that 3 to 4 times a month. What if she goes on a drinking lunch in the FQ once a month without discussing it while the kids are in school? What if she does a spa day without asking if you can afford it at the time?
It is about communication and mutually agreeing on the proper time to enjoy oneself, or working with spouse to ensure she has her needs addressed as well.
I think that is a big reason for failed marriages. One spouse gets selfish and the other finally says f this.

Men who constantly post things to TD to try to get approval of other baws with higher self esteem are even more pathetic

I just asked my wife. She says it's not pathetic at all, so there's my answer.
