Kim Son is by far my favorite Houston dim sum restaurant. Huge dining rooms.
Great dim sum and a point and order steam table.

I prefer Frank's to Central Grocery in the FQ. CG makes all their muffs in the morning, and they sit around until sold. Frank's will make you a fresh muff on request. Frank's is only two doors down from CG.

Pho Dac Biet with rare steak, brisket, meatballs, tendon, and tripe, garnished with basil, green onions, jalapeno, and bean sprouts. Served with hoisin sauce and siracha sauce on the side.
I do not like cilantro, so I didn't put any. The Vietnamese people find that omission quite strange....

Stuffed fried wontons. Mix a bowl of ground pork, chopped raw shrimp, bean sprouts, finely chopped green onions and mushrooms, and soy sauce. Use standard small wonton wrappers and put about a teaspoon of mix in the center. Then fold on diagonal and seal the skin - may need a little water rubbed alo...
