re: Men, what’s your answer to getting rid of razor burn?

I see. Well in my experience, razor burn is caused by poor technique, blunt razors, or razors that just don’t agree with your skin. Start by shaving with the grain. If you get razor burn, try a new razor. Let the razor do the work and apply as little pressure as you can. Before my beard, I always had better luck with cheap Barbasol over that Gillette gel crap. They also make pre-shave oils that help lubricants the skin.
Thayer’s witch hazel after shave is good stuff.

Tend Skin is your solution. I used it for years.

Apply hot wet towel. Lectric Shave preshave. Wait 30 seconds for hairs to stand up. Aveeno oatmeal based shaving gel. Sharp blades. Nivea Post Shave Balm. This ritual is pleasant and will change the game.

Shave after the steam room

Don’t change your blade as often. A dull blade will do the job and not razor burn you.

Nailed it. Unless you want to do laser hair removal, which I've also done. (Cost you about $800 to do back, shoulders and upper arms.) Both are well worth the money.

Beards are for ugly men to hide how monstrous looking they truly are from society

I'd love to know the answer. I have grown a beard for about a decade now but I shaved my neckline up until about 2 years ago, but I couldn't take it anymore. My neck gets razor burned and I get ingrown hairs like crazy. I tried a lot of stuff and nothing really helped. I stopped shaving and just trim it with my beard trimmer with no guard now. No more ingrown hairs either.

Gave up razor years ago. Use beard trimmer with no attachment to get close but not clean shave. Basically a 5 o’clock shadow cut.

Hot water, good lather (I use dollar shave butter) sharp razor

Buy a badger brush (or boar brush if your facial hair is coarse enough). Use that that with some glycol shave soap post face and neck wash. Works like a charm.

Try Proraso preshave for one to two minutes.

I've had a beard for like 15 years but I still have to shave part of my neck.
I do it in the shower with regular cartridge razors and regular shave gel. No issues since switching to the shower shave. Highly recommend and will never go back.

newer aftershaves
Aftershaves contain alcohol which irritates your skin after shaving.
You need to use a balm that is alcohol free and soothes skin after shaving.
I have these 2 right now

Make sure your blade is kept dry between shaves. Don't use shaving cream. Aloe lotion after shaving. Foolprooof.
