I’m very open to be shown proof of causation. Truly. Very open.
The distinction between correlation and causation is quite significant. And one that is frequently sidestepped.

Fully depends on what your goals are for the company. Is your ideal exit timeframe 3 years? 5? 10? Death?
Do you intend to become acquired by PE? Or sell the company to your employees? Leave it to children upon dirt nap? Other?
Without a lot more info, we can only provide responses that are going to be biased with assumptions and personal experience which may not be good advice for your specific goals.
Start with the end in mind…so you can build the vehicle one part at a time to get you there.

re: Tips on how to bring down your energy bill during the summer
Posted by BawtHouse on 7/15/26 at 10:23 pm to Lickitty Split
The majority of energy consumption in a home is from AC(in tropical climates like the south).
The following is the best approach for the vast majority of homes:
1. Contact your utility company and ask about what free energy efficiency home service programs they offer(many do). Someone local comes out, tests the home with a blower door test first, seals gaps, improves weather stripping around doors, use mastic and tape to seal your AC handler that is probably in the attic and probably not perfectly sealed, and so on. They will test again after to document the improvement they must report back to the energy company. If your energy company doesn’t offer this, google search and pay someone to do it(probably $500-$1200 in most cases). This is the top thing most homes need that has the highest impact on consumption/bill. Also consider that this will help your home hold temp longer, so your AC system will have to cycle on less times per day to hold temp. Which increases the longevity of AC units.
2. Buy smart thermostats like Nest and set them up properly. Your house doesn’t need to be 68-72 when nobody is home during the day. If you have more than one unit(like an upstairs and a downstairs, or a separate unit for you personal chef/driver, or PJ pilot’s quarters…have those set at 82 when nobody is using the space). You will be amazed at how much this changes your consumption/bill.
3. Make home more insulated all places heat can transfer easily. Windows, doors, through ceiling from attic, floors if on piers, etc. Research and make all more sealed and insulated.
Keep good records of any of the things you do to make your home more energy efficient. This will continue to become a more discussed part of a home when buyers are looking to buy, especially as utility rates keep rising. Look at it as an investment in the home that pays you back monthly through your bill and also makes your home more desirable when selling.
Best of luck!

The key is to block before it gets through the window. Blackout shades or curtains will absorb the heat and then transfer into the air. The heat still gets in.
If windows are not modern and block properly, an inexpensive option is DIY tint that blocks. Otherwise replace windows(not inexpensive).
Supposedly, the plan is to license the FSD software to the other manufacturers at some point

No, but thanks for highlighting the intelligence level of your argument, ….it is a lot like Israel……when confronted with facts that do not cover up the killing that they are doing they reach for emotional responses.
You are an idiot. This is a classic FAFO situation. The statistics you posted(likely yanked from your arse), simply support your people are in the FO phase. October 7 was one of countless FA situations. A tipping point. And a horrific one that was done to instigate what has happened since. Iran wanted this. So they got it.
Your numbers, even yanked from your arse, prove your people are bad at this and should stop fricking with Israel.
Be honest, what do you think we would do if Mexico has been swearing since all of time they want to wipe America off the map and kill every American. And then constantly attack us. And then one day come across the border, rape, murder, decapitate babies, and so on. Do you not believe we would wage war against Mexico and whatever fricktards were behind and it? Get real. Your Islam flag is showing.

When the individuals that are most knowledgeable about what is coming and what we know may be possible(let’s not address what can’t be fathomed) are having strong opinions about building data centers outside our atmosphere, colonizing other planets, and so on…..we should probably take that seriously.
What’s going on is not good.
Everyone must never forget that Israel and the Jewish people stand between all of us(western civilization) and Islam. THAT is why it is so important to fight on THAT battleground. If Israel and the Jewish people fall, we are next. Make no mistake about that. To do so is simply naive. It’s not even cloaked. It’s open to see. Trust your eyes and ears. Trust what Islam says. Trust when they say they want to erase all of us from the planet. They actually mean it and do not value life as we do.

“No nukes” was part of the Obama deal. And yet they still tried to obtain nukes. How will it be different this time?
Spoiler alert: it won’t.
Spoiler alert: it won’t.
Political theater, mostly
We can sign whatever, but Iran will sign with their left hand and fingers crossed behind the back with their right hand. Just like before. Under the former deal that was supposedly still in place, they shouldn’t have been trying to manufacture nukes…yet here we are trying to take their highly enriched uranium…which is used to make nukes.
Political maneuvering will take place, sure. But to pretend Iran will follow through with anything they agree to is completely asinine. It’s all political theater. Iranian regime is committed to wiping all westerners off the planet, above all else including the soaring of their own lives. Don’t ever forget that.

Been around and studied for 25 years now. Tell us again when the long term horrible side effects are going to start.
Sure, new versions continue to be developed…that typically are safer and more effective than previous versions.

re: Am I Essentially Doomed To Weight Loss/Diabetes Medicine?
Posted by BawtHouse on 5/21/26 at 10:04 pm to TheMagicMan
Seek the guidance of a doctor that specializes in obesity and has a good track record in treating the disease. PCPs tend to have very broad knowledge bases. They are not specialized though. If you were diagnosed with heart disease, would you seek the guidance of a cardiologist? Of course. Would you start taking heart medicine and say “I plan to stop taking the heart meds once they prove to be effective?” Of course not. This isn’t that different.
The answer is to do all of the things. Healthy diet(not fad diets, starving yourself, etc). Nutrient rich balanced diet is THE optimal approach. Exercise regularly. Get help from a specialist.

There is ZERO support for GLP-1s having causation for muscle loss. None.
Good MDs that prescribe GLP-1s should also be advising and assisting patients with resources and plans for diet and exercise. Muscle loss is the result of a lack of physical activity. Not taking the meds.
Plenty of people that take the meds also frequently do not exercise. It’s that lack of exercise that causes muscle loss. Not the medicine. It’s a very important distinction.

This thread is so full of stupid it’s hard to read.
Long term side effects is NOT an unknown. We know. GLP-1s have been used for around 25 years to treat diabetes. The exact same medicine many of you are acting like just came out. The. Exact. Same. Medicine. We know that it’s generally extremely safe. In fact, we now know it has several extremely beneficial side effects.
Remember a few years ago everyone was clamoring that GLP-1s are causing heart issues? Wrong. Now proven to improve cardiovascular health(aside from and in addition to the indirect weight loss benefits on cardiovascular health). Also helps break addiction cycles by affecting the conditioning feedback loop in the reward center of the brain(including with alcoholism, nicotine, nail biting, gambling, etc). New versions of the medicine have been developed, sure. But acting like there are huge unknowns is rage bait fear mongering bullsh!t. And completely asinine. The medicine is extremely safe, especially when weighed against inaction. The disease of obesity, however, is not safe. Just like cardiovascular disease, liver disease, and so on. It’s not different just because society has conditioned your brains to think it is.
I get such a kick out of ignorant people holding such emotionally charged opinions about weight loss medicine. Let’s all start attacking people with heart disease for taking heart medicine? How dare they! They should just “will power a cure” like everyone with obesity should do. Amirite? It’s not as different as you think. Social stigma and conditioning are the ONLY reasons many of you think the way you do about this. Medicine has far surpassed the archaic “it’s a will power issue” argument. It’s beyond dumb to still maintain that old mindset. Do some people possess enough willpower to overcome the disease of obesity without any surgical or medicinal intervention? Sure. Is it fair to act like everyone can and should “will power” through a medical illness that is biological and genetic? Of course not. Why do so many people attack people with obesity and not people with other diseases like cancer or heart disease?
It is also hilarious how many people bash “fatties” for taking GLP-1s and in the same breath talk about how they should take peptides instead because peptides work great for them. The level of ignorance is truly astounding in so many loudmouths on this subject. The same ignorant people can’t take the time to learn what GLP-1 even stands for. Hint, the P is for Peptide.
To be clear, my position is firmly that the vast majority of people are absolutely ignorant on this subject but choose to act like they know what they are talking about. But they don’t. At all. However, that doesn’t mean I do not support and advise healthy living habits like regular exercise, balanced diet, avoidance of unnatural preservatives and processed foods, etc. Those are also extremely important. As important as treating the disease of obesity with all tools, including weight loss medicine.

Longines has always been an amazing bang for buck option. They make beautiful watches with very good in house movements.
Longines new Hydroconquest model is on a whole new level. May be the best overall value in watches on the market today. Many new options and all are total bangers. I bought one already and will buy at least one more. Most have been sold out since right after launch. My next one will be either “Cookie Monster” or the the gray bezel.
Go check them out for sure.

Overcooking the meat is almost universal. Many have learned that the high temp over required time for seasoning is a problem and try to combat it by adding ice(dilutes) or watering the sides of the pot(inventions have been made for this).
