Gravy will be in FB live in a few after he puts 5 in gas in his momma's Tahoe to discuss how this is the community fighting back. PERIOD.

I think most of Senate district 15 would rather he put a hose through a window while he did these.

Yep, the OT’s favorite civil judge is on the sidelines.

Don't think the Mayor's Atty didn't time the judge rotation to their favor. Trying to find connections with them and Morvant.

Whatever their connection to him, he at least has a reputation for being sane.

Trudy, OTOH, would keep this tied up for years though numerous mistakes which would get overruled by the state SC.

You couldn't be any more accurate. If I was her husband i'd tell her to get her chubby arse to work and quit wasting time/money on useless crap like this.

LOL he's bigger than she is.

I'd welcome that. Better the slam dunk overturn than not winning at all because the more reputable judge rules in favor of the mayor

It’s not 20% of the city’s general fund. It’s about 18% of the parish’s general fund.

Ok, I wasn't 100% on that. I know the area makes up a significant amount of a general fund

If this lingers for years, it will kill both areas as dead as if BR won the case quickly.

It wont linger. Unlike your typical run of the mill liberal lawsuit for ridiculous shite, this one is about a legal election that took place.

By linger, I mean having to do multiple trials because a judge made multiple reversible errors.

Anyone down for a class action against Broome for blatant misuse of public funds and catering to a very specific constituent while shafting everyone else?

There has to be something here. I can't think MOP would just randomly let any judge be assigned. I would ask for a change of venue and let's decide this in Laffy or New Orleans or Shreveport.

Larry Bankston is one of the plaintiffs attorneys. A guy who JBE hired even though he spent years in jail on a federal racketeering conviction.

Didn’t dumbass go to prison over a fricking golf bag?

I just remember that whatever the price was that got him was just insanely low.

I would think the mayor should be spending time on how to lower the crime rate, how to attract business and create jobs, improve infrastructure, etc... but instead suing its own citizens who want a little better quality of life.

This is what the party and Baton Rouge has become. Unbelievable that people of power think this is time well spent in office representing the ENTIRE PARISH. It’s so obvious she only cares about the citizens in the city. I pray to no end Rispone wins and this city gets a republican in office to end this BS. It’s identical to what has happened to Trump so we shouldn’t be shocked status quo is continuing in our local government. A shame Graves or Scalise didn’t run for governor. Would probably be a runaway, especially Scalise.

Phantom rented his condo for bribes for video poker.

JBE named him attorney for contractor's board where he corruptly disqualified companies who bid against his son's company. And after all that JBE fought for him and Cormier repped him. Honor code my arse.
