No arrests yet, but authorities say they don’t believe there’s an active threat to the public right now.

I would disagree. Sounds like there is an active threat to the public, they just don’t want to admit what it is…

What could possibly go wrong- the dude on poster is possibly smoking a blunt. Rap music promotes misogyny and guns:

Here’s a murder rap to keep y’all dancin’
With a crime record like Charles Manson
AK-47 is the tool
Don’t make me act a fool.”

Every Democrat you know is hoping the "right" kind of person/people are killed again by their foot soldiers. They love violence and want more of it. The mall murder a couple weeks ago was just a warm up.

So you’re saying if you get too many of them together at once they can’t help but start shooting?

The odds of disrespeck happening at these events rise exponentially as the attendance numbers rise so the shooting was axiomatic.

The first thing I thought when I saw this thread was if me or any of my kids would be at this event. I'm happy to report the answer would be a resounding "no".

They caught one of the suspects:

quote:

Edmond Police have released the first look at the suspect accused in the deadly mass shooting at Arcadia Lake.
Authorities say 18-year-old Jaylan Davis, also known as “3zzy,” is now in custody after being identified by multiple witnesses and victims. Investigators believe the shooting was the result of a gang-related dispute.
The violence left 18-year-old Avianna Smith-Gray dead and 22 others injured, with officials saying at least 80 rounds were fired.
Police also say evidence recovered from the suspect’s home matches ammunition found at the scene.
Davis is currently being held in the Oklahoma County Jail on a $1 million bond, with charges expected to be upgraded to felony murder.
?? Investigators say this case is still developing and more suspects could be involved.

What started as an argument between two women escalated into a gang-related clash. Over 80 rounds were fired from multiple weapons.
18-year-old high school senior Avianna Smith-Gray was killed. 22 others were injured (including 6 juveniles as young as 15) by gunshots, grazes, and shrapnel.

This is the woman who was killed. Avianna Smith-Gray.

From FB:

quote:

EDMOND, OKLA. (TUC) — During the Edmond Police Department’s press conference yesterday, Sgt. Hamm announced that there had been no fatalities at the time of the briefing. However, he did state that one victim remained in critical condition. Shortly afterward, the Edmond Police Department released a statement confirming that the victim in critical condition had sadly succumbed to her injuries.
Avianna Smith-Gray was only 18 years old. She had just finished up her trimester in high school and was so ready for graduation day. She had her entire life ahead of her, and now she and her family have been robbed of all that.
According to her family, she was a loving and caring young woman who brought light to the people around her. She loved dancing, singing, and doing hair. They say she was incredibly talented and also an amazing athlete.
Many people are focusing on the wrong things right now. We don’t even understand why race has become such a major focus in this situation. A young woman lost her life, multiple others were injured, and families are grieving. That should be where the attention stays.
We don’t give our opinion often, but given the circumstances, we feel it needs to be said. It feels like parts of the community have tried to justify downplaying this tragedy by using the bullshite excuse that it was an “unpermitted” party. At the end of the day, that label changes nothing. People were hurt. That alone should matter more than whether paperwork was filed for a gathering at the lake.
We are absolutely disgusted by some of the racist comments being made surrounding this tragedy. Instead of showing compassion, some people chose to turn this into a race issue and push their hateful narratives.
This should not be about race. It should be about the lives affected, the families grieving, and the violence that took place. If your first reaction to a tragedy like this is to find a way to minimize it instead of show humanity, then you’ve already lost sight of what actually matters.
Our hearts are with Avianna’s family, friends, and everyone who loved her as they try to navigate a pain no family should ever have to endure. She was only 18 years old and deserved the chance to live the life she had ahead of her.

Because it is the same race doing the same shite every got damn time. The color of the victims may change but the color of the shooter(s) remains the same too fricking much. It is not rocket science! Stop fricking being obtuse.

And the problem won't get fixed until we call a spade a spade!
