I took my son to an allergy appointment yesterday and afterwards had to drop something off at goodwill, so I just left it on.
I imagine it's either not thinking to take it off, or intentionally leaving it on to avoid forgetting it when you go into a store because you're not used to it yet.
Regardless, who gives a shite?

Not very fat at all tbh, but why would that matter? Hot air comes out of your nose/mouth and is trapped by the cloth in front of your face. Assuming you have the mask on right it would function the same for everyone.

I've actually seen a couple of explanations for this online.
They come out of the store where they've just touched a lot of crap and don't want to touch their face, so they wait till they get home and wash their hands to remove the mask. Sounds perfectly reasonable to me. Not sure why that should bother you what someone is doing in their own car anyway.
