Remember the NFL

yeah, I remember. Did you watch this year? You remember seeing the NFL, ESPN, et al all asking for and sharing prayers on live TV when the player died on the field? You notice all the military references and deference from the NFL this year? You watch the Superbowl? Some very Redneck looking country dude (yeah, I know, Chris Stapelton) belting out a very beautiful rendition of the National Anthem while military jets flew over and a flag as big as the stadium was unfurled?
Doesn't sound like the NFL of previous "woke" years! So I'd say the pushback had a pretty good effect. They may still have BLM shite on the sidelines, but they arent nearly as "in your face" with it as in the past. And they're far more conventional with respect to the military, God, and patriotism than they were when Kapernick started his shite.
Disney seems to be getting the message too.

You won't slay the financial Goliath, but you will hit him in his margins which is pretty damn effective.

Look man, I get the derision for "craft beer", I really do. But it's not all quadruple-hopped IPA's and butternut squash ales. Plenty of the small breweries are putting out basic straight up lagers, pilsners, and stouts. Just better quality than the macro's and without the adjunct bullshite added.

I buy and drink beer from a small town/rural brewer to support local businesses that don't push bullshite social agendas.

GFY walt. Yeah, we are horrible folks for expecting a has been QB playing a child's game to respect his country and its flag. Go buy a couple cases of bud lite and support your ilk and the rest of the brain dead democrats

These executive positions typically have nothing to do with experience in the industries they're hired to oversee. I've see it first hand multiple times. They all assume selling or managing widgets is the same whether or not it's beer or cars or cosmetics or toothpaste. It doesn't work like that, though.

Bud Light is the top selling beer in the US...by a pretty significant margin. And it has been for a long time. Does anyone realize how bad at your job one must be to frick up this big? As the marketing director for Bud Light you just have to steer the ship, make funny commercials, and not drive head first into an iceberg. Of course, that would require actually knowing your customer base...which mostly just blue-collar folks and those who don't think $17 for a 4 pack of a blueberry pancake flavored beer is a good buy.

Really. Why hold Kaperdick on a pedestal like he's some type of civil rights hero who's beyond reproach? The guy doesn't even have the balls to take one for the carnage happening every weekend in Chicago because there's no money in it. This shows what he really cares about.

It’s really not going to have much of an effect

I don't think bud light will crumble to the ground and after this blows over in a week things will probably return to normal. Buuuuuut in my extremely small sample sized anecdotal experience, I went to the gas station by my house yesterday to grab some beer and the rows for the tallboy 24oz miller lite and coors lites were both empty while the one for bud light was slap full.

You dumbass. It wasn’t just the taking of the knee. It was his whole act of being a mistreated black guy (who happened to have been raised by rich white people). His constant virtue signaling and bitching is what brought everyone to hate him.

All she had to do was grab the wheel of the ship and keep moving forward, but I'm convinced that she never had any intention of doing so. It seems that she had an agenda from the outset fueled by ESG and social media trends. Whoever hired/vetted her is more so to blame than her.

I'm interested to see if this sticks all that way to football season. The parade grounds will look very different if it does.

it boggles my mine that the idea that they should be doing the exact opposite of this campaign didn't slap them in the face.

they are catering to the FAR left crowd, all of which i can guarantee you were not, and will not, be drinking Bud products. Make a campaign to speak out against that, or at the very least, say the Budweiser doesn't give a frick who you are and that they focus on making quality beer for everyone, would solidify their core and made them stand out from their competitors by addressing stupid wokeism.
