Kids weren’t involved and it wasn’t a drug deal gone bad. The murderer was released about three days ago from the ER Psych unit at University Health. Unfortunately, two nice people gave the wrong person help and paid for it with their lives.

In the south you are not safe whether you are in the city or country. In the north you are safe in the country.

You have a source on that? I don't see any reports of an arrest or even the name/description of a suspect.

When I was a kid it was common to see a lot of folks hitchhiking and we rarely wouldn't pick them up. My dad had to hitchhike home from CA after WWII and he felt sorry for those who had to.

Today, you can't even feel safe stopping to assist anyone broke down on the side of the road and certainly to pick up a hitchhiker.

The world has indeed turned shitty.

Honestly, probably as safe if not safer now. People just end up in headlines instead of disappearing when it goes bad

In the late 80s I had a friend come down from upstate NY. He wanted specifically to drive through the bottoms so he could go back and tell his friends he had been there. It was pretty famous for violent behavior even then.

Or, maybe the parents owed somebody money for something. When the guy showed up, it was either ask the kids to leave or they die too. Never know

Bumping this thread.
Apparently 20+ units are in the area where the bodies were found right now.
Anyone have any details other than this?

35 SPD units plus Marshalls and Caddo sheriffs. They're on Penick street. The bodies were found at the corner of Penick and San Jacinto.
