My last topic about vehicles was incredibly depressing, but this one’s awesome. You can’t tell me that none of you have at least wanted to do this. Anyone who rats on this guy is a killjoy weasel.

Brings back memories of the old draw bridge in Empire, La. I jumped it with my fourwheeler and there were three cop cars waiting for me when I got home....

When I was a kid we would frequently visit my grandparents down in Chalmette. In going there, we'd either have to drive over the St. Claude bridge or the Claiborne bridge (I know they have names but I never cared to learn them).
They had different mechanisms for raising and lowering.
But, as a kid, I used to have dreams/nightmares about the bridges going up when we were crossing them. We'd get stuck on the Claiborne bridge and we would "jump" off the St. Claude bridge. Some of these dreams seemed so real that when I got a little older I once asked my mom if the bridges had ever started to go up on us when we were crossing. She assured me that they hadn't.

Didn't we have a video last year of someone going airborne on one? I'm pretty sure I remember seeing that here where this dude jumped 100ft.
