Most of them are borderline retarded and unemployable otherwise.
Most of them barely passed high school and were too dumb to get accepted into college, so they went with the trades. Go figure.

I’m sure dude gave a time frame… I deal with this shite everyday… frickin DIY’ers scheduling trades on top of other trades and inspections be the problem… not saying it is in this case
This is why people hate contractors like you. Loud mouth arrogant pricks.
1. We DIY stuff because your dumbass cannotn manage to show up within hours of the agreed on time nor call. Rude as hell.
2. You show up and bitch and moan and then always want more money to pay for that jacked up F350 with the dumbass lift kit and dumbass wheels. When I was a kid our contractors drove astro vans, not king ranch trucks. A truck is necessary, a king ranch on lift kit is not. Quit hitting me up for advances, and get to work.
3. I've done plenty of DIY work that my contractor complemented and then did substandard work compared so take your superiority and shove it up your arse.
Guys like you are the problem. Wait til work slows down and recession hits your center console on payments is gonna bankrupt you.

If you dislike people that drive certain vehicles, maybe don’t hire those people

this implies this is extra “on the side work” I’ll get to you when I get to you
Then why schedule a time with the OP?

that’s the way business works(especially this business)
If I have a meeting scheduled with a new client and my meeting with a major, existing client is running up on my new meeting guess what I do? I tell my existing client I need to pause for 30 seconds to update my next appointment that I’m running late.
This isn’t complicated.

I do excellent work homeboy… I ain’t shitting on DIY’ers… but the reason you stated for people taking that route are bullshite… the majority doing it because they “perceive” it saves money…

Put a bid on painting a condo last month. Lady ended up hiring some Mexicans she met in the parking lot. They didn't even take shite off the walls.

LEARN TO SHOW UP ON TIME OR CALL ME
I agree completely. Every single person has a cell phone in their pocket. All that is necessary is the common courtesy of keeping you informed.

No, he took 8 weeks to do a 2 week job and could barely be bothered to show up before noon.
And no, if your dumbass shows up to my house in a king ranch or displays any other dumbass financial decisions I will not hire you. I'm not subsidizing your last job and helping you make the note on your shite. I am so tired of hearing contractors brag to me about their boats and cars and then be late and useless.

Anyone clean and cares about what they do can make more a lot money working commerical than piddle-assing around with homeowners and their bullshite.

Me too. I’ve been burned too many times by trade guys and their substandard shitty work and broken promises.
One time I hired an older bricklayer who said he had 50 years of experience to brick up a window because I wanted the mortar to match the aged mortar of the rest of the wall.
MFer put some of the bricks in backwards. The bricks had a specific textured side that was the face.
And the mortar color? fricker lied to me and said it would dry to the right color. Did it? Nope.
Next time I did a brick job, I did it myself. I was slower but it turned out exactly how I wanted it.

They have zero communication skills. I believe it’s a requirement of the profession.
And being broke or bad with money. I have a friend who did an investment properties. I mentioned to him that these contractors live paycheck to paycheck. He said I’d be surprised that a lot live by the hour. They would buy supplies at Home Depot and then immediate ask for reimbursements right away. He sold all his properties and happily retired now.
