LSU Pathologists Reveal Unexpected Heart Damage from Covid-19

The autopsies, believed to be some of the first reported from the US, were conducted on 22 patients who died of COVID-19 at University Medical Center in New Orleans. The majority were African American. The ten male and twelve female patients ranged in age from 44-79. Although there were other underlying conditions, the majority had high blood pressure, half had insulin-treated type 2 diabetes, and about 41% had obesity.

I didn’t read the entire article. How do they know the damage is directly from the virus and not pre-existing damage?

So they had high blood pressure, diabetes, and obesity for years, but its the two weeks of covid that caused some heart damage

The heart damage is more likely from the hardening of arteries due to the high triglycerides in the french fries and fried food these people ate.

Maybe they've seen thousands of hearts in their careers and this type of damage is atypical compared to other hearts with the same pre-existing conditions. I don't see how this is a hard concept to grasp.

Every time they talk about a person dying and they are not 80 and actually show a picture of that person they are almost always obese, followed by a family member saying they were perfectly healthy. Then you find out they had a host of other ailments that no one wants to say. So again, 99% of the people dying have a ton of other issues. COVID-19 just speeds it up. Not scary one iota unless you fall into that category.

Yet that wasn't stated was it? No
They stated ALTHOUGH they had pre-existing conditions. A bad heart with multiple areas showing cell death is NOT uncommon with those who are obese, have heart issues, and diabetes. Further, the resulting cell death looks like cell death. Nothing special about it.
It's not that hard to understand.

And there you go. That's the reason why they died and not because of Covid-19. Respiratory infection/virus isn't going to give you heart damage like they have suggested.
This isn't follow the science, this is how much lies and bullshite can we feed the public to keep them in panic.
