LSP does plenty of revenue generating
It's just become a lot more blatant since the economy went in the shitter
Understood and agreed, but I will say I see more loacl PD speed traps than I do LSP speed traps

They don't have radios in their cars anymore? It's not like the guy traveled 800 miles and got pulled over three times. It was all the same troop

You are driving a car/truck that looked like the one they were looking for....Drug interdiction as it's been said already. As soon as they ran your tags they knew it wasn't you...so instead of saying "These are not the droids you're looking for" they issued the warnings
This happened to me on I-12 about 15 years ago. Was driving from Baton Rouge to Biloxi late one night. Got pulled over 3 times between O'Neal Lane and I-55. Every time, the officer apologized and told me they were looking for someone running drugs with the same make/model/color of car I had.
I didn't mind getting pulled over the first time, but you would think the first trooper would radio ahead, hey, if you see this car with License Plate 123 XYZ, it's not our guy.

Police tatics like that are just fricking disgusting. They're only looking to make revenue.
Then explain why OP only got warnings instead of tickets?
Cops were likely just doing drug interdiction.

So stop driving I-10? You first.
That’s real practical

I know that they are looking for anything suspicious to score a drug bust but damn that was just over the top.
They had some good intell that a make and model car you were driving was moving dope. All of those were just bullshite excuses.

Regardless it's incredibly annoying.
I used to drive i10 between BR and Houston for work a good bit. Company required us to rent. Most of the time I'd work a full day in either city and leave around 8pm. I lost count at the number of times I was pulled over for similar things such as the OP and "let go with a verbal warning".

Most likely because the troopers realized he wasnt transporting anything of value that could be seized.
Theres more ways to make money than just writing tickets.

Where do you people come from?

They are looking to make a big bust.
As anyone can imagine there is a lot of drug trafficking on I-10, between La and Texas, especially coming into La from Texas.
The traffickers try not to give police any reason to stop them.. To a fault. They drive the speed limit, they don't drive vehicles that draw attention to law enforcement, etc. So they look for any small reason to stop cars and at that time, it's probably easier for them to stop more vehicles.

Cops need to have fun, too. They were radioing ahead a BOLO and seeing how many times they could pull you over.
That’s what I would do if I was a popo.
Gotta have fun somehow.

All the revenue peeps are also unaware of this from the LSP website:
All citations issued by Louisiana State Police are handled by the Traffic Courts in the respective parishes via local sheriff's departments. Troop A does not set or collect any of the fines, nor does the State Police receive any of the money from fines. PLEASE DO NOT CONTACT TROOP:

I am pretty certain the authority that makes an asset seizure gets a cut of the revenue.

Pretty much this. However, the LSP kinda knows what to look for on random traffic stops concerning drugs and they are typically the ones that sit in pairs in unmarked cars on the interstate. They give really zero fricks about a traffic violation other than they need one to trigger a search.
They get tips on who to really pull over from their own internal or local PD drug enforcement guys plus local DEA agents that turn up info on their wire taps. They will then pull you over if you fit the mold and then they will knit pick you on some silly bull shite as the reason they pulled you over hoping to get a perp or perps to consent to a search if they really think you are moving dope or they will just bring in a search dog.
