How much of this is on the drill instructor? How in the hell is he allowing this to happen? Maybe they need to retrain them as well.

He’s training them how he was trained to train them. He’s only a symptom of he larger discipline problem in today’s military.

Personally no, highest I ever did was AFROTC and left the program when UNO went underwater (2005).

My best friend is ex-USAF mechanic. Coolest dude I've ever known and taught me a shite ton on car repair!

My comment just comes from him and the stories i've heard from him when other branches call the USAF the chair force.

I did do a leadership school at Keesler and Barksdale AFB. Fun times.

Should be leather boots

seems impractical

Should be on their heads. When a soldier is outside, head is covered. When indoors, cover comes off.

no battlefield, no care. i do get the whole training to always have it on though

Wrong. Head is covered anytime a soldier is outside.

you should be more inclusive

That could be said for any professional. Whether it be a professional killer or doctor.

And I don't sit around talking shite about certain types of doctors based on stereotypes, when I'm not a doctor.

I know you don't believe that, but I digress. Heaven forbid you have an opinion on anything .

I'm fairly certain the damn millennials aren't writing the training standards. If the older people aren't willing to tell the millennials to grow the f up, whose fault is this?

Are you an officer or was an officer if you want to get that nitpicky about who can discuss what on a college sports based message board.

Can't expect low wage workers to care as much as the owner of the business. They are doing the best they can.

That’s what i thought. No Vet would actually argue that an E1 buck private in basic has right to choose what they wear. About the only choice a Private gets to make is whether to tough it out or quit. Period.

In all honesty the Air Force is more like a major corporation.

Two sides of the USAF... flying and support.

Mechanics/ flight line work around the clock often 12-16 hours a day.

Support is basically a 9 to 5 monday-friday job. Not hating on anyone who serves but the fact that the USAF treats a comptroller as a hardened combat warrior is impractical. I knew a services guy who retired after 20 and he said he only went to the shooting range twice in that time and he weighed over 250 when he was active.

I think stress cards are an urban legend by the way.

It use to not be this way. The process started in the mid-90s under Clinton. Since then progressives have used the military as a giant social experiment to push their liberal agenda. For 20 years now they’ve infected the military like a cancer. Now look at it.

Yep. Time to fix it and get shite squared away.

I mean...what do you expect with the quality of recruit enlisting in basic army infantry? Most of them have literally no other options in life
