A veteran would recognize the phrase “ate up”

It’s not surprising that discipline is lacking. It’s that way all over the country for teens. Schools, sports and the military are all symptoms of a larger problem.

Yep. Probably the most used saying in the military. I heard my 9 year old using it the other day. Made my chest puff out just a little.

So did I, and at least half of my company were complete idiots who had no other option in life, except joining the military.
