Be careful which place you go to. Some of them are dick heads. They will fail it and put a red sticker in the place of your old inspection sticker.

Ask around locally. There is always a couple places that will just slap a sticker on without checking. As for me, mine fell off the windshield two years ago and I haven't bothered getting a new one.

Literally highway robbery. So tired of the government taking a bit of my income at every turn.

It's a tax on people who will pay it.

frickers can drag an 8 car caravan of busted shite across the whole damn country without a blink from law enforcement, but I better pay this dumb fricking money grab to keep the law from bothering me on my way to church in the morning

frick that stupid fricking law. Inspection stickers needs to be dragged outside and shot behind the woodshed.

I haven't had one since maybe 2008. I don't have illegal tint or anything though. I just don't want it on my windshield and I think it's a total waste. I'll probably be stopped and get a ticket today now that I'm posting this.

I feel you man. The company I work for carries equipment across state lines. We got a DOT ticket once for only having 3 straps on a load rather than 4. But a fricking caravan of Jose and Juan can cruise on by with 3 cars linked together, no taillights and shite falling off the side. It's a fricking joke.

I would say the carwash up 190 across the river but the State shut it down for being too lax.

I haven't had one in about 12 years. I do believe its better to not have one then have an expired one.

Yep, this and what you typed after it is almost identical to the REQUIREMENT that you have car insurance. Nothing ever happens to the ones who don’t other than they back into my vehicle, have no insurance, then offer to get “dey cousin who fix cars” to do the repair. Right…

Just don't get one.

Many states don't require them, so when "they're" standing in the road "checking" them, they almost always just wave you on if you don't have one.

Claim ignorance if you get caught. Worst case, you pay a non-moving violation.

If you have a vehicle registered in 5 parish area around EBRP, probably not.

State police, have really tightened up on enforcement of shops sticking on inspection stickers on vehicles with tint windows that fail. I believe it’s $250 fine for the inspector.

If you are outside the 5 parish area you may have more success. Inside BR the state police watch inspection stations like a hawk or a state trooper on a donut.

Now police vehicles having dark tint if I am correct they usually have a tint exemption letter that they show the inspection station.
