My vehicles are perfectly fine but I still want a fake inspection sticker just because frick this law.
The people who don't follow it don't give a frick. They don't have insurance either. Nothing will ever happen to them. It's fricking harassment of working family people.
frick I hate inspection stickers.

I've heard rumors that no inspection sticker ticket is a slap on the wrist but having an expired one is a lot more. This true?
I know from personal experience that a ticket for an expired sticker was $250.00 about 7 years ago.
In a thread several months back, a poster here stated that a ticket for not having one all together is somewhere just north of $100.00 if I recall correctly.

I'm so old I remember when Bobby Jindal promised to eliminate inspection stickers. But his baby sitter Mike Edmondson convinced him to keep them because LSP got most of the money. They are just a tax on the poor and if you are in a parish that touches EBR you need an emissions test. Total BS.
In my short reign as benevolent dictator of Louisiana it would be the first thing I'd do.

Poor people don't get them, nor do they get harassed for not having them because they won't pay the ticket anyway.
It's a tax on working people who'd rather just pay the money than deal with the bullshite.
