Hoping Demco does. Been down for about 30 minutes now in Central.

Good news for me. 34° and water dripping everywhere. Sounds like I'm in a rainforest. We're between rounds now, and that southerly breeze has raised temps. At the very least, this will shed what ice is on trees and powerlines, and hopefully help with buildup when the temp dips later this evening/tonight.

Anybody tried driving on surface streets yet. How difficult is it.

Light flurries now. Considering I'll be stuck inside for the next few days, I wish it would turn into a damn blizzard

It’s times like this I’m glad I live near the demco station on wax. In the 9yrs we’ve lived here we have only lost power once, and that was only for about a hour.

We probably have 5-6" in shreveport and ZERO in the trees. That's great news..until Wednesday.

Any chance I can get from south Louisiana to north Mississippi tomorrow?
Posted on 2/15/21 at 10:45 am to ell_13
Getting crushed by warm air advection here in Birmingham, which will prevent us from having many ice problems (if any at all).
