Instead of advising people to take care of themselves by eating healthier, working out and isolating themselves if they were particularly vulnerable, we decided to frick the economy and crush everyone's civil rights. fricking retarded.

Obesity at 18.62% is exceptionally low when obesity is highly likely to cause Hypertension 57.92%, Diabetes 35.35%, Cardiac disease 20.63% and can cause Pulmonary issues as well as Chronic Kidney disease when the heart has to work overtime to pump blood & oxygen to an obese body.

I’m curious about the teens/twenties aged that contract Covid who has severe symptoms or even death with seemingly no “underlying conditions” are due to vaping which is rampant in this age group.

If so, you would see far more deaths and severe cases in this age group

I'm assuming the global population has continued to increase over the past few months (???). I also assume the same with the US, basically births are still higher than total deaths.
Does anyone have these totals or is that only available via Census every 10 years? How has the Louisiana population changed in the past few months taking into account the 4k?

People simply don't like the "government" telling them to eat correctly and exercise. Michelle Obama caught all kinds of shite for her vegetable garden and Let's Move campaign. I think it was Rand Paul that tweeted at her account that he was going to Dunkin Donuts.
That being said I doubt there are more than a tiny number of people in the US that don't understand that being overweight is horrible for their health and the vast majority of those know it increases the chance of dying from COVID19 significantly.
If overweight and obese people didn't change their behavior prior to COVID faced with diabetes, heart disease, etc this virus is unlikely to produce any significant change either.
