4.60% fatality rate

188 cases in EBR
1,480 cases in Orleans

Overall, I believe these are really good numbers, especially since they dumped over 6,000 test results.

Does appear to be slowing if we assume some of these numbers should have been included in yesterdays numbers.

The LDH website lists 9 in EBR, so it's only 2 off.

I’m not an expert but seems like good news? Especially on the hospitalization/ventilator side of things?

Only an increase of 5 people on ventilators and 31 people hospitalized since yesterday.

Louisiana trending below Italy now but 185 deaths isn't too far behind. I'd like to see that number lower. Italy had 233 deaths on this day.

Louisiana total cases falling way behind Italy now. 4,025 compared to over 5,800 for Italy. Deaths is a lagging statistic so with the fall off from Italy in total cases deaths should begin really lagging behind.

Now we can turn our numbers into per capitas to beat Italy.

I’ve calculated avg age the past couple days. It’s around 69

Italy wasn’t counting nursing home or home deaths at that time. Huge

~56% are 70+
~17% are 60-69
~15% are 50-59
